Spooky Pinball: From Podcast to Pinball Powerhouse

Spooky Pinball began as a humble podcast on April 1, 2010—a father and son sharing their love for the game. A year later, a custom Godzilla-themed machine at the Midwest Gaming Classic sparked unexpected interest from industry pros. Charlie, then working in print, found himself drawn into manufacturing, and eventually teamed up with modder Ben Heck to build original machines. On February 1, 2013, Spooky Pinball LLC was born. “America’s Most Haunted” and “Rob Zombie’s Spookshow International” sold out, enabling Spooky to open its own shop in 2016. With over 200 machines built for Domino’s and the Pinball Company, Spooky gained real momentum. Award-winning titles like “Total Nuclear Annihilation” and “Alice Cooper’s Nightmare Castle” followed, and “Rick and Morty,” “Halloween,” and “Ultraman” took things to another level. Based in tiny Benton, Wisconsin, Spooky Pinball remains proudly independent—and delightfully weird.
